Edgar D Jannotta, Jr.
FORMER MANAGING PRINCIPAL AND CO-MANAGER OF HEALTHCARE GROUP. GTCR GOLDER RAUNER, LLC.
Mr. Jannotta worked for over 25 years in the private equity business. He spent 15 years at GTCR, where he served as Managing Principal and Co-Manager of the Healthcare Group. While he was at GTCR, the Firm invested more than $7.5 billion in private equity capital in over 100 companies.
Prior to GTCR, Mr. Jannotta spent 10 years as a Managing Director of William Blair Capital Partners, where he was responsible for leading private equity investments. Prior to William Blair, he served as a financial analyst at Solomon Brothers.
After retiring from GTCR in 2011, Mr. Jannotta has been active investing personal funds in private companies, primarily in the healthcare industry. He currently serves on the Board of six companies, including Arthromeda, and also serves on the Board of the Teton County Search and Rescue Foundation. Mr. Jannotta graduated from Princeton University, cum laude, and Harvard Business School.
Dr. Hans-Joachim Simons, PhD, FCS
INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
Dr. Simons is an physician and an experienced life science executive. Dr. Simons is currently a senior executive at Medical Park AG, one of Europe’s largest post-surgical rehabilitation service providers. Prior to that, Dr. Simons served as Managing Director of Ivy Sports Medicine Gmbh, a company developing products and services for orthopedic surgery. Dr. Simon’s experience in the business of medical technology includes General Manager of the South African subsidiary of Karl Storz Endoscopy and International Marketing Director and Business Development at Gambro AB. Dr. Simons attended medical school at Heinrich-Heine University in Dusseldorf, Germany specializing in trauma and orthopedic surgery.
